Spanish!!!!! Spanish!!!!! Spanish!!!!!! wow so interactive this new discovery was for me. Apart from the popular television show "Dora the Explorer" i knew nothing about Spanish. But this changed after just one class with miss Verbena. The amount of knowledge gain can not be matched with anything thing else. I never felt so in charge of my learning as i do now. Being able to do my work at any hour at my convenience(usually in the evenings when i am relaxed) and being able to integrate technology with learning is amazing!!!!
The course was informative and it was designed so that each student was actively involved in his/her learning.
It was fun and what really top the icing on the cake was the videos and songs. The use of the class web site to complete tasks was new, fresh and innovating. This course helped me to take new approaches towards teaching; not only Spanish but in each subject area. In just the short time we had, we covered so many topics and because it was so nice i can remember everything. There was never a minute to waste as Miss ensured that work was always there. I really liked the energy each task required, it allowed us to be creative and think outside the traditional context.
through the use of the computer we had the power to learn at our disposal anytime, anywhere. It was up to us to learn.
I'm sure if each person paid attention and found enjoyment in learning new things, this was definitely enjoyable for them.
I know it was for me!!!!!!!! Now I feel that I am more than equip to face any challenge that may come with teaching new topics.
Oh my i must say this programme was work!! work!!!!!! work!!!!!!!! I mean sleepless nites, busy days and repeat. You were always checking to see when more work would appear. And surely it did but i feel everything paid off as it only benefited me in the end. And for that Gracias!!!! Oh i couldn't help myself "Vamos a Cantar" (I cant get enough of that lol) I can officially say i think talk and walk Spanish, meaning i keep finding myself singing what I learnt in Espanol!!!!
I recommend that more courses include the integration of computers as it is a new and exciting way of teaching. Through the use students will save a great deal of money and time that would be spent printing off assignments.
